Police: No injuries after shots fired at Port Arthur home in drive-by shooting

Police say some of the rounds went through the home that was the intended target.

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Port Arthur Police said no one was injured after shots were fired at a home near the corner of Vicksburg and 17th in Port Arthur. 

Some of the rounds went through the home into the house behind the intended target, police said. 

The suspect has not been found according to police.

From a Port Arthur Police Department news release...

Officers with the Port Arthur Police Department responded to the 1800 block of 17th St. in reference to shots being fired at a house. It was discovered that a residence was struck several times by gunfire and that some of the rounds exited, striking a second house behind the first house. No one was injured during the incident. This case is currently under investigation by the Port Arthur Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.
