BEAUMONT — Police announced the arrest of a 45-year-old Beaumont man Sunday in connection with one of several Saturday night shootings.
Ronnie Walker was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting of a 26-year-old man Saturday night according to a news release from the Beaumont Police Department.
Police say they were called at about 8:40 p.m. after Walker and the victim got into a fight that resulted in the shooting in the 1400 block of Washington Blvd.

The victim, whose condition has not been released, drove himself to the hospital according to police.
Walker was released from the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on a $25,000 bond according to a jailer.
