BEAUMONT, Texas — Four juveniles had to be taken to a hospital after Beaumont police chased a stolen car Monday night. 

Around 11:15 p.m., two officers saw a Saturn Outlook near Houston and Roberts that had recently been reported stolen according to the news release. 

The officers tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver ran from officers at a high speed according to the release.

The driver eventually lost control in the 2600 block of Harrison, hitting several parked vehicles. 

All four occupants, a 16-year-old girl, 10-year-old boy and two 13-year-old boys were taken to a hospital for medical evaluation before being processed and released to parents according to the release.

On Monday, July 8, 2019, at 11:13 p.m., Two Beaumont Police Officers observed a recently reported stolen, Saturn Outlook near the intersection of Houston and Roberts. The Officers initiated a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle, however the driver fled from Officers at a high rate of speed. 

The driver continued to evade until losing control of the vehicle in the 2600 block of Harrison, hitting multiple parked vehicles. One of the occupants of the vehicle fled on foot but was quickly apprehended. All four occupants were juveniles and were transported to a local hospital to be medically evaluated. 

The juveniles (16 year old black female, 13 year old hispanic male, 13 year old black male and 10 year old black male) were processed and released to guardians while the investigation is on-going.
