ORANGE, Texas — The man accused of dragging a U.S. flag behind his car and assaulting a Nederland man outside Home Depot in Orange on Independence Day has been arrested. 

Terrance Watson was arrested in Houston according to Capt. Robert Enmon with the Orange Police Department.

Watson is charged with aggravated assault according to jail records.

He is held in Orange County Jail on a $75,000 bond. 

A warrant was issued for the man, who is accused of punching a Nederland man in the face after he tried to help pick up an American flag dragging behind the car Watson was driving. 

Brandon Scott, the man who was hit, confirmed to 12News that Watson is the man.
