From Beaumont Police Department...

This week, the Beaumont Police Department is asking for your help in identifying two subjects who attempted to break into the Boost Mobile store at 2745 Washington Blvd. ON Thursday, April 26, 2018, shortly after midnight, a BPD officer was patrolling in the area of Washington and Goliad and heard a burglar alarm go off nearby. He searched the area and found that the front door glass was shattered at the Boost Mobile store. The door was still secured, so the officer contacted the owner, who responded to the scene. The store owner and the officer reviewed the surveillance video and saw two b/m subjects walk past the front of the store, and then return with large ceramic pieces from a nearby downed power pole. They threw the ceramic pieces at the glass, shattering it and causing the alarm to go off. The two suspects then ran west away from the store. They were both about 18-25 years of age. One was about 6'0" tall with an athletic build, with short hair. He was wearing a long sleeved blue shirt, blue basketball shorts, and had a blue or purple backpack.
