BEAUMONT — The Beaumont Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a woman in connection to a theft at Lowe's.

Police say that in May 2018 the woman came into the store and went to the tool section.

She appeared to be looking for something from a list and even asked the clerk for the location of the item.

Police say she then took two Dewalt combo kits from the tool section and ran out the exit doors without paying for them.

She got into a black Cadillac being driven by another woman.

The suspect is described as a white woman, between 60 to 70 years old, about 5'8" tall with a thin build and bushy short brown hair.

She was wearing a blue hoodie jacket, yellow shirt and white shorts.
