Help still available for Harvey victims almost two years after storm hit Southeast Texas

Some are still not back in their homes as the second anniversary of the storm approaches in August.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Texas — It's been almost two years since Tropical Storm Harvey devastated Southeast Texas. 

Help is still being offered even as some are still not back in their homes as the second anniversary of the storm approaches in August.

Texas General Land Office employees, American Red Cross and disaster case management workers came to Lamar Institute of Technology Saturday to meet with residents. 

That event ended at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 20, but there's still another chance this week to meet with them in Beaumont

When: July 27
Time: Registration starts at 2:30 p.m., session is from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m.
Where: West Tabernacle Baptist Church,  E.J. Rhodes Activity Center
