AUSTIN, Texas — Neuralink, another company from Elon Musk, is reportedly putting roots down in the Austin-area.
According to an article from our partners at the Austin-American Statesman, Neuralink is working on a multi-building campus on a 37-acre property in the Del Valle area.
The site plans that were filed with Travis County outline that it will be located on Caldwell Lane off of Texas 71, which is near the Colorado River. The campus will also be 20 minutes from Tesla's Austin gigafactory, another one of Musk's endeavors.
In addition to Tesla and Neuralink, Musk's The Boring Company also has employees in the Austin area. Meanwhile, The Statesman reported that Musk's aerospace company, SpaceX, is planning to build a $43 million facility in Bastrop County. SpaceX would be near where The Boring Company, Musk's tunneling company, already operates.
Neuralink is a neurotechnology company that is working on building a computer-brain interface to allow people to control a computer with their minds.
