HOUSTON — A longtime Houston resident just celebrated her 101st birthday, her family says.
Katherine Smith Sams celebrated the milestone on Saturday, Jan. 2.
Her niece Linda said Ms. Sams lived in Houston’s Third Ward for more than 70 years before moving in with a family member. She still resides in Houston, however.
Happy belated birthday, Ms. Sams!
