Lumberton Police joined by second K9 officer, Leroy

LUMBERTON, Texas — Lumberton Police Department has been joined by a second K9 officer. 

Leroy is a a three-and-half-year-old Shepherd/Belgium Malinois mix who was trained in Holland.

He is trained in narcotics, tracking, 'handler protection' and apprehension. 

His handler is Officer Chan Ainsworth.

Leroy's cost was $14,500.
