Spotify will now make a playlist for your pet

ST. LOUIS — Do you ever listen to music with your pet or leave it on for them while you’re gone?

A music streaming service will now create playlists for your pet.

Spotify said it created a unique experience to help users craft the ‘pawfect’ algorithmically generated playlist for you and your pet to enjoy together.

Here’s how it does it: You pick your pet and then tell them more about your pet, add a name and photo and then listen and share.

To create a ‘barking’ good playlist to enjoy with your own pet, head to spotify.com/pets

During a study, it found 71% of pet owners use music with their pets.

According to Spotify, almost 1 in 5 pet owners named their pets after a music artist or group and the top 5 artist-influences pet names are: Bob Marley, Elvis, Freddie Mercury, Bowie and Ozzy.
