BEAUMONT, Texas — Over 200 area children at 40 lemonade stands 'all over Beaumont' are participating in Beaumont's Lemonade Day event.
The mission of Lemonade Day "is to help today’s youth become the business leaders, social advocates, community volunteers and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow...one lemonade stand at a time!"
Hours for each stand are listed with locations for those who wish to support young people participating in the entrepreneurship program.
Lemonade Day serves as a "program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their very own business - a lemonade stand," according to its national website.
