'Supernatural' star Jared Padalecki spotted at ACL – again

The actor, who has Austin connections, has been known to frequent the festival in the past.

AUSTIN, Texas — Jared Padalecki, an actor in the show "Supernatural," has been spotted once again at the Austin City Limits Festival in Austin.

Seemingly every year, the actor joins the throngs of music lovers at Zilker Park, and this year is no different. Still, fans of the hit series were thrilled to see the star and took to social media to show the evidence.

Instagram user @alliepuff posted a photo of herself with the star with the caption, "That other time we ran into @jaredpadalecki at ACL Fest! It's starting to look like a new annual tradition for us."

Sue Vickery wrote on Instagram that Padalecki was the "sweetest ever" when she bumped into him.

Twitter user @Cartoonhero78 said it's "always a pleasure" to run into Padalecki.

@danaelmendorf gushed on Instagram, "I’m so hot and sweaty and gross and pirate-eyed! Lol. BUT I MET SAM WINCHESTER SO WHO CARES!!!!"

Genevieve Padalecki, Jared Padalecki's wife, tweeted a throwback photo of the two of them at ACL in 2018, saying, "Can't wait to see GNR and all the other bands this weekend!"

Padalecki is no stranger to the Texas capital. In 2015, People got a tour of Padalecki's Austin home.

In 2017, Padalecki was joined by fellow "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles at ACL, where the two bumped into Austin Mayor Steve Adler and his wife during weekend two.

Just last year, Mayor Adler proclaimed a new day to celebrate in Austin -- "Supernatural Day" -- in honor of Ackles and Padalecki's hit CW TV series that had been renewed for its 14th season

Unfortunately for "Supernatural" fans, the 15th season of the show will be the last for the series. At the San Diego Comic-Con this year, Ackles and Padalecki shared an emotional goodbye.
