Jordan Williams is an evening anchor and executive producer at 12News.

Williams brings nearly twenty years of anchoring, reporting and producing experience to the news desk. His varied career has taken him from border to border - literally from Brownsville to Buffalo - covering everything from immigration to environmental contamination.

He returned home to Southeast Texas in 2018 after more than five years anchoring and reporting at WIVB-TV in Buffalo. Williams has also anchored and reported in the Rio Grande Valley, Oklahoma City and Midland.

He graduated with honors from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX with a Bachelor of Arts in both communication and music in 2003.

Williams has received eight regional Emmys, including three consecutive Lone Star Emmys for his work on 12News at 10. From fires to (too many) floods, Jordan has helped lead the 12News team to thoughtful and thorough coverage.

He's earned three regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, and twelve first place awards from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters. In 2012, Williams was honored by the Society of Professional Journalists with the Sigma Delta Chi Award for an investigation into problems with a guardrail contractor in South Texas. He's also won a host of honors from the Press Club of Southeast Texas, including best anchor, best newscast and best investigative report.

Williams, who is a native of Port Neches, loves telling stories and tracking severe weather. Jordan also serves as organist and director of music at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Beaumont and volunteers as a delivery driver for Nutrition and Services for Seniors (Meals on Wheels).

You can watch Jordan weeknights on 12News at 5, 6 and 10 p.m.
