Major damage and multiple injuries were reported in Godley, Joshua and DeSoto, where storms were declared an EF-0 tornado Tuesday.
In Godley, located in Johnson County, a mobile home park was hit by the tornado, injuring three people.
Roofs of homes in DeSoto, located in Dallas County were ripped off in one neighborhood. All of three tornados, the strongest winds hit DeSoto at peak winds of 85 mph.
In Joshua, an EF-0 tornado touched down shortly before 4 a.m. The fire department reported damage to several homes in the 3400 block of FM 917, just off North Highway 171.
Johnson County officials say that up to 20 homes were damaged. Three of those homes were significantly damaged, an emergency official said.
A woman and her daughter, who is in a wheelchair, were inside one of the mobile homes that was flattened. Neighbors helped rescue them, and they were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The medical status of the third injured person is currently unknown.
Fire officials say all of the damaged homes have since been cleared.
The National Weather Service looked at the damage and determined it to be an EF-0 tornado, which means winds reached 65 to 85 mph.
