HOUSTON -- The 2014 ZZ Top tour has been suspended after bassist Dusty Hill slipped and fell on the band's bus Wednesday night.

Tour organizers said Hill fell on his hip, forcing the band to temporarily suspend the tour so he can receive treatment and recover.

The band had at least nine concerts lined up for August and September, including a stop in The Woodlands on Sept. 12.

A spokesman for Live Nation says ticket holders should keep their tickets pending the possibility of rescheduling.
