A hot and sticky weekend coming up

More summer heat will lead to some scattered rain and thunderstorms again today.  If you don't catch some rain you will have partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 90's.

This weekend rain chances will stay fairly low with only a 20% coverage for both Saturday and Sunday.  Highs this weekend in the lower 90's.  Rain chances will go up Tuesday and Wednesday next week as a front moves close to the area.  Highs will cool a little with the widespread rain Tuesday and Wednesday.

Triangle Friday:  Partly cloudy with a 20% coverage of rain and thunderstorms.  Highs in the lower 90's.  Winds: South 3-9 mph. 

Triangle Tonight:  Mostly clear and muggy.  Lows in the lower 70's.  Winds: Light and variable.

Lakes Friday:  Partly cloudy with isolated storms possible.  Highs in the lower 90's.  Winds:  South 3-7 mph.

Lakes Tonight:  Mostly clear and humid.  Lows near 70.  Winds:  Light to calm.

Wednesday:  Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms.  Low near: 72.  High near:  89.  Winds: North 3-8 mph.


Thursday:  Mostly cloudy and hot with scattered showers and storms possible.  Low near: 71.  High near:  90.  Winds: East 3-8 mph.
