Award-winning French restaurant offers unique feasts during the month of September

HOUSTON, July 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Located at 217 South Avenue G in the quaint town of Humble, Texas, lies Chez nous French Restaurant.  Known and awarded for its commitment to culinary excellence since 1984, Chez nous French Restaurant will celebrate 30 years of business this September, 2014. In recognition of this milestone anniversary, Chez nous will offer two unique culinary feasts for the entire month of September. The first offering  is a Prix Fixe menu showcasing the classics of French Bistro Cuisine and costs $30 per person with $19.84 wine pairings. The second offering will feature an $84 - 6 course Chef's Table with $84 wine pairings featuring some of the finest local and French ingredients. Chef Stacy's 30th Anniversary Table d'hote for the month of September:

  • An amuse bouche of Homemade Blinis topped with Caviar, Farm fresh Eggs, Chives and Creme Fraiche
  • Pan Seared Diver Scallops with Citrus scented Nage and Rainbow Micro Greens
  • Seared Rouge Foie Gras, Apricot Ginger Compote and toasted Homemade Brioche
  • Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Truffles Cognac Cream, Asparagus

About Chez nous

Chez nous is owned and operated by Chef Stacy Simonson and her husband Scott Simonson.  The Simonson's joined Chez nous in 1994, and after living and training in France, the couple took over the helm from founder Chef Gerard Brach in 2006.  Chef Stacy is an innovative force in the kitchen, blending the traditions of Chez nous' sturdy French cuisine with her own progressive approach towards new world interpretation of the Parisian classics.  The seasonal menus prepared by Chef Stacy Simonson and her kitchen brigade highlight the finest, locally produced ingredients, served in an elegant yet casual setting. Chez nous begins service at 5:30 p.m. and takes it's last reservation at 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays.
