Union Pacific to close several Beaumont crossings for repairs

Several railroad crossings in Beaumont will be closed over the next several days for repairs by Union Pacific crews. All closings are expected to last one day, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Schedules for construction, maintenance, and repairs are subject to change, including extensions and postponement, due to weather or other factors. Motorists are asked to be aware of all detour signs and advance warnings, and to proceed with caution.

200 Block of Coburn Drive at railroad crossing
On Thursday July 3, the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing on Coburn Drrive will be closed to all traffic. The crossing will remain closed until 5 p.m. the same day. Motorists will not have access to Coburn Dr. from Calder Avenue until the work is completed.

On Friday, July 4,  the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing on Todd Street will be closed to through traffic. The crossing will remain closed until 5 p.m. the same day. Motorists may detour the closure using College Street, Doty Street., Phelan Boulevard., and Keith Road.

Langham Road at railroad crossing
On Saturday July 5, the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing on Langham Road will be closed to through traffic. This crossing will remain closed until 5 p.m. the same day. Motorists may detour the closure using College Street, Dowlen Road, and Calder Avenue.

On Sunday July 6, the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing on Keith Road will be closed to through traffic. This crossing will remain closed until 5 p.m. the same day. Motorists may detour the closure using College Street, Major Drive, and Phelan Boulevard.

On Monday July 7, the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing on S. Major Drive will be closed to through traffic. Motorists may detour the closure using College Street, Dowlen Road, and Phelan Boulevard.
