HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Dozens of people have been injured in a collapse at a home in west Harris County.

According to the West I-10 Volunteer Fire Department, dozens of people were injured at a home in the 21300 block of Park Mill Lane. Thirty-six victims were taken to area hospitals. The injuries are primarily thought to be not life threatening. Most of the injuries are said to be minor.

A witness at the scene says victims were on the second floor when the collapse occurred. Some victims were trapped and others pulled them out. All individuals have been accounted for.

Neighbors say the homeowners had sent out a letter to let them know they expected about 150 guests at a large, religious family gathering scheduled from 10am to 2pm that was to include music and dancing. Arrangements had been made for transportation in the neighborhood.
