Driver arrested for outstanding warrant following Monday-morning accident

One person was arrested on an outstanding warrant following an accident involving a pickup and a passenger car Monday morning.

The collision happened around 7 a.m. at the Interstate 10 westbound off ramp at HWY 365.  This is near the Bar H Store.

A Department of Public Safety Trooper on the scene told 12News that the driver of the pickup was taking the exit from Interstate 10 onto the two-way feeder road.  The driver of a Cadillac on the feeder road did not yield to the pickup, and the two collided.

The driver of the Cadillac, identified as John Dylan Stanley, 19, of Groves, was arrested for a non-related outstanding warrant for a weapons offense out of Orange County.

There were no major injuries reported.   An ambulance was called to the scene but was not needed.
