Reed wins NCAA discus - Broussard misses cut at US Open

Former LCM Bear Hayden Reed, now competiting as a freshman for Alabama, won the NCAA Championship in the discus with a toss of 62.7 meters.   Former Kelly Bulldog Anthony Broussard missed the cut at the US Open but finished with a bang.  Broussard birdied 17 & 18 and had four birdies in his second round on his way to +2/72.  Broussard was 10-over during his two days and finished tied for 121st.
