Beaumont brothers arrested for Nome home invasion that left elderly woman hospitalized

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says they have arrested two men wanted in connection to a home invasion in Nome.

Deputy Rod Carroll says 25-year-old Marcom Stagg and 26-year-old Thomas Stagg were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery for their role in the incident in the 1100 block of Kotz Road that left an elderly woman hospitalized. The men are brothers.

Deputies say on Friday, May 16  an elderly female complainant was awoken to find 3 unknown armed men inside her residence. The men assaulted the woman while they stole cash and a flat screen TV. The actual robbery occurred between 2330 and 2345 hrs. The woman was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth hospital for her injuries and was later released.
