HOUSTON -- Dallas Keuchel continued to roll Wednesday night, and so did the Astros.
Keuchel allowed four hits and one run in eight innings to win his eighth game of the season, and Chris Carter provided a pair of homers to lead the Astros to their 19th win in their past 30 games, 5-1, over the D-backs at Minute Maid Park.
Keuchel (8-3) strengthened his case to make the American League All-Star team by winning for the sixth time in his past seven starts. The Astros are 9-4 in his 13 starts this year.
It was Carter's fifth career multi-homer game and second of the season. He hit two homers on May 28 against the Royals in Kansas City. It's the fourth time this year the Astros have had one player hit two homers in one game.
