DPS on the scene of fiery crash in Hardin County

The Department of Public Safety is investigating a fiery crash in Hardin County.

The crash happened around 10p.m. Saturday south of Lumberton near Keith Road. Troopers shut down the southbound lanes of Highway 69 and the southbound service road. Troopers say a Dodge Caliber was rear-ended by and another car. A fire broke out following the collision. The driver of the Dodge was treated on the scene by EMS workers.

Troopers say the driver in the other car was arrested for suspicion of DWI.
