Beaumont police find missing woman

UPDATE: The Beaumont Police Department has informed 12News that the woman reported missing earlier in the day has been located.

PREVIOUS STORY:   The Beaumont Police Department is searching for a missing woman.  A police spokesperson said officers consider her to be endangered.

The spokesperson said Ana Rosa Sanchez, 25, suffers from schizophrenia.  She ran away from Baptist Hospital as she was being given an MRI prior to being admitted into the hospital.  The spokesperson said she is in need of medicine for her illness and is suicidal.

Baptist personnel last saw Ana at about 2 p.m. Wednesday.  She is described as a Hispanic female, about 5’00” tall, weighing between 140-150 pounds, with long black hair.  She was last seen wearing a multi-colored shirt and black pants.  She lives in Port Arthur but officers believe she may still be in Beaumont.

Police ask anyone who has seen Ana Rosa Sanchez to call the police department at 409-832-1234.
