Two men are in jail after police say they burglarized a convenience store and stole cigarettes.

Shortly after 11 p.m. April 17, officers were called to a convenience store located at 55 E. Caldwood in reference to an alarm. The front glass was broken and the business had been burglarized. Numerous packs of cigarettes were stolen.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Pontiac Sunfire in the 3700 block of Quitman and located two suspects inside the vehicle.  The men had several packs of unopened cigarettes. The two are identified by police as Leonard Flowers, 48, of Beaumont, and David Flowers, 46, of Beaumont. Both men were taken to the police station to speak with detectives and then taken to the Jefferson County Jail. They were booked in for Burglary of a Building and each has a bond of $10,000.
