Chambers County deputies investigating Winnie robbery


Chambers County deputies are looking for two men who robbed a Winnie store Tuesday afternoon.

According to Sheriff Brian Hawthorne, the robbery happened just before 4 p.m. at a gas station located at 46107 Interstate 10 in Winnie.

One of the robbers is described as a white male in his thirties with facial hair, tattoos over legs and arms, with brown hair.  The other robber is described as a black male in his late thirties to early forties.

Investigators with Chambers County Criminal Investigation Division are conducting an ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Chamber's County Sheriff's Office at 409-267-2500.
