More than 100 people found in apparent immigrant stash house

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Immigration officials are working to sort things out after more than 100 people were discovered in a small house on Houston's south side.

Authorities with Houston police, the Harris County Sheriff's Office and Immigration and Customs Enforcement are all on the scene, just south of Beltway 8. Dozens and dozens of possible immigrants were in the small house in a semi-remote area, without close neighbors.

Men and women have been segregated, and are all sitting on the ground outside as officials work to process all the information. We are told children were present in the home as well.

Those found in the home will be taken into custody. There's no word yet if anyone is under arrest in connection with the stash house.
