Acer is offering K-12 schools throughout the United States the opportunity to pilot the Chrome OS with a free trial of the award-winning Acer C720 Chromebook.
San Jose, Calif. (PRWEB) February 21, 2014
Acer is offering K-12 schools throughout the United States the opportunity to pilot the Chrome OS with a free trial of the award-winning Acer C720 Chromebook. K-12 schools may apply for this program online.(1) If accepted, they merely need to participate in a short conference call with Acer regarding the use of Chromebooks in the classroom. These K-12 schools will then be given an Acer C720-2103 Chromebook to evaluate for 30 days. At the end of the trial period and another short call with Acer to discuss their experience with the system, they may simply return it and owe nothing or they may explore opportunities for long-term use with an Acer representative.
Acer is enabling schools to explore the benefits of Chromebooks and determine whether they are the right solution for bringing cloud-based computing and web access to classrooms.
Schools may apply for the Acer Chromebook Seed Program starting today through April 15, 2014. Supplies are limited so Acer recommends that schools apply as soon as possible.
