What a warm up today and just in time for Valentine's Day too! After a foggy, chilly morning, the sun broke out and temperatures took off. All of us will be in the lower if not middle 70's by mid-afternoon under partly sunny skies. If your plans do take you outside, you might need a little extra hair gel as the wind will be a bit gusty. A wind advisory is in effect until 6 pm for Jefferson and Orange counties.
After dark, the wind will begin to lighten up. That should help the hair situation if you will be out and about for a nice Valentine's Day dinner! As we move through the early evening, expect temperatures to drop into the 50's.
More warm, spring-like weather is ahead and we have the latest forecast coming up tonight at 4, 5, 6, 6:30, and 10.
