The gray skies are starting to break over Southeast Texas as drier air swoops in from the northwest. Most of us will get a good amount of sunshine this afternoon and that will be enough to warm temperatures into the middle and maybe even the upper 40's.
With clear skies and lighter winds tonight, that means more sub-freezing weather will be possible. It won't be cold enough to support a hard freeze, but either way, it just reinforces how cold this winter has been so far.
Fortunately for you warm weather fans, the pattern is starting to shift once again. The 70's are looking more and more likely as we head towards the weekend.
The Southeast Texas Winter roller coaster continues.
We will have the full forecast coming up tonight at 4, 5, 6, 6:30, and 10.
