Frigid weather in Southeast Texas is not keeping everyone inside

Not everyone is staying indoors as a result of the winter blast that's enveloped Southeast Texas.

There are several people who are camping out for Elton John tickets, which go on sale Friday morning at 10:00 for the legendary performer's March 12th concert at Ford Arena in Beaumont.

Many started arriving to wait in line around 8 p.m. Thursday evening, when temperatures were already in the 30's.

The frigid temperatures are also not keeping Paula Guillory away from work.

She says she does good business when it gets cold.

Guillory manages Uncle Henry's Tamales, a family-owned business that's been in Beaumont for 77 years.

It's located on East Lucas Street.

Guillory says Uncle Henry's sells a lot of cold weather food, like gumbo and chili.  That's why she expects her business to heat up, as the weather gets colder.
