Bricks being sold to personalize Nederland public safety complex

Posted: Updated:
NEDERLAND -

Bulldozers are paving the way for a brand new state of the art police and fire station at the corner of Boston Avenue and 14th Street in Nederland.

The new fire station is being built from the ground up and the police station is being gutted on the inside.

When complete, the $3.1 million facility will be called the Homer E. Nagel Public Safety Complex.

Bricks are now being sold to be placed on the grounds of the plaza entry.

The bricks are selling for $50 each and come in red, gray and light gray.

They can be etched with your personal wording and your business logo.

You can log onto NederlandVFD.org to purchase a brick.
