It is turning out to be a superb weekend across Southeast Texas. We got another nice day with plenty of sunshine and very mild temperatures. Winds have been a little breezy and clouds are on the increase from the southwest, but still don't expect any rainfall until a little bit later this evening.
For the rest of today, expect increasing clouds with high temperatures topping out in the lower 70's. That south wind will help to increase moisture levels ahead of our next storm system that will bring us the best chance for rain especially after 11 pm although we could see a few light showers before then.
We will talk more about the chance for rain as you get ready for a new workweek; that is coming up tonight at 5:30 and 10.
