Southeast Texas school to delay start due to weather

Posted: Updated:

A Southeast Texas school released a statement Sunday stating classes at two campuses will begin late Monday due to the weather.  The statement is from technology coordinator Jennifer L. Hockless with Tekoa Academy.

Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies S.T.E.M. campuses of Port Arthur and Orange will begin classes later than normal Monday morning due to the predicted freezing temperatures. School buses will not begin their routes until 7 a.m. Monday.  School will start at 8:30 a.m. and school will dismiss at 4:45 p.m.

Female students are allowed to wear leggings under their uniform or khaki colored or navy colored slacks. No blue jeans or tight fitted clothing are permitted.
