Deaths of man and daughter ruled murder-suicide

The Beaumont Police Department has confirmed to 12News that autopsy results show the deaths of a man and his daughter who were found in a swimming pool earlier this year are the result of a murder-suicide.

The bodies of Traveth Quinn, 31, and his daughter Legend Quinn, 3, of Beaumont, were found in the wading pool at Alice Keith Park in Beaumont on October 10.  The day they were found, a police spokesperson told 12News their deaths were suspicious citing that both were fully clothed and they did not have a car or any other form of transportation at the pool.

Detectives have received final autopsy results. The deaths have been ruled a murder-suicide.

Toxicology reports indicated that Traveth Quinn had PCP in his system.
