It will be another week before new traffic signals are installed along Highway 105 in Vidor.
Lights with a flashing yellow arrow were scheduled to be placed at four Vidor locations Monday. They will be installed instead next Monday.
The flashing yellow arrow is to remind drivers to be careful when making a left turn.
The green and red arrows for protected left turns will remain.
One longtime Vidor resident told us he thinks the new lights will cause confusion.
"Go find something else to do beside changing stuff here. Find something to improve the roads around here. Put sidewalks in for these kids down Orange Street. If you're going to think of something, think of something smart," said Vidor resident Tim Reed.
The Texas Department of Transportation says the yellow arrow lights will be used all across the state.
They're a part of new federal safety mandates.
