Beaumont I.S.D. will decide future of two administrative employees Thursday

Posted: Updated:

The Beaumont Independent School District board of trustees will discuss the possible termination of two district employees Thursday.

The positions are the Director of Finance which is held by Devin McCraney, and Comptroller which is held by Sharika Allison.

Both of their homes were raided by investigators with the FBI on November 7 while others with the FBI raided the administration building.

The raids come after accusations of diverted funds and a bogus account within the B.I.S.D. Since the raid, both McCraney and Allison have been on paid administrative leave.

Their possible terminations will be discussed in executive session during Thursday's regular board meeting with a vote to follow.

The meeting begins at 7:15 p.m. at the administration building.
