Retailers are preparing for the biggest release in gaming history. Over the next week two next- generation video game consoles will be released.
The first, Sony's Playstation 4, is hitting shelves on Thursday at midnight.
Gamers didn't waste time either. The first group of people started showing up as early as 2 p.m. Thursday to get their hands on the new console.
The Playstation 4 comes equipped with upgraded graphics and 500 gigabytes of hard drive space.
It's the first console released by Sony since the Playstation 3 which was released in 2006. Sony expects the Playstation 4 to last a decade.
But the hype is far from over. Microsoft fans will be doing the waiting next week when the Xbox One hits shelves.
