Citizens in Orange shared their concerns over three affordable housing projects that are moving forward.
The city's housing authority held the meetings. The projects involve redeveloping the Pine grove, Velma Jeter and Arthur Robinson II projects.
Plans for Pine Grove and Velma Jeter include demolishing the old apartments and rebuilding in the same place.
Arthur Robinson will be built on underdeveloped land on Sikes road off Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Most citizens neighboring the projects voiced displeasure with the projects though some stood up in support.
The redevelopment plans for the projects were approved in July of this year.
The deadline for the projects to be complete is July 30th of next year.
