Schools in the Orangefield school district were put on lockdown for just under two hours Monday after officials received a report that a man fleeing police might be in the area.
The school superintendent said disruption to the school day was minimal. The lockdown, which keeps kids from going outside, was called as a precaution.
The school was notified around 11 a.m. and the all clear was given just before 1 p.m.
The school's website notified parents shortly after the lockdown was lifted.
