The Department of Public Safety has released the names of two people killed Monday night in an accident on Interstate 10 Orange County.
The accident happened near the 878 mile marker.
The victims are identified as Johnny Barton, 42, and Rohnny Barton, 42, of Orange County. The twin brothers were killed were killed when their vehicle struck an 18-wheeler just before 8:30 p.m.
A Department of Public Safety spokesperson said the Bartons' truck was heading west on the I-10 service road and the driver lost control while taking the on-ramp. The vehicle crossed through the center divider and went into the east lane of I-10 and hit a Volvo Semi head-on.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the 18-wheeler received non life-threatening injures.
