(KCEN) -- In our continuing coverage of the West fertilizer plant explosion, a judge has set a tentative date for the trial against the West Fertilizer Company.
That date? October 6, 2014.
The Dallas Morning News is reporting the date only gives lawyers a year to prepare for trial.
Fifteen people were killed as a result of the explosion in West in April of this year.
The explosion caused over $100 million dollars in damage.
CF Industries is alleged to have made the fertilizer that detonated after a fire engulfed the facility.
The company only had $1 million dollars in insurance.
The trial will be held in Waco district court.
