(KCEN) -- The Bruceville-Eddy bus crash that happened last month resulted in the need for a new bus.
The school district told the Waco Tribune they are looking into their options to replace the bus that was totaled in the crash with a dump truck back on Sept. 16.
The district's insurance policy would only cover one-fifth of the cost of a new bus.
The cost for a new bus: about $90,000.
The dump truck driver had no insurance.
There is no final decision yet, but officials say they are seriously weighing their options, because one bus makes a big difference to a smaller school district like the BEISD.
Police say the dump truck driver likely fell asleep at the wheel, causing the crash.
