Two-Year-Old Bellmead Child Drowns

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- A two-year-old child drowned in Bellmead on Tuesday.

On September 3, Bellmead Police and Fire Personnel were called to the 5200 block of Concord Road for a report of an unresponsive child.

Upon arrival, a family member was performing CPR on the child.

Family members say that two-year-old Henry Lord was tucked into bed while his family was preparing for dinner. They said that they noticed Henry was quiet so they went to check on him. This is when they noticed he wasn't there, so they all started to look for him. They later found him inside the pool, unresponsive.

The child was transported to Hillcrest Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

No foul play is suspected and is being ruled as an accidental drowning.
