(KCEN) -- Fort Hood has released the name of a soldier who died in a motorcycle crash last week.

Twenty-five-year-old Specialist Tyler Pimpis was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene after colliding with another car last Wednesday.

The crash happened in the 2900 block of Trimmier Road where police say Pimpis hit a pickup truck that was turning into a parking lot.

He was not wearing a helmet.

So far, no charges have been filed.
