BEAUMONT, Texas – Senior receiver Barry Ford has left the Lamar football team announced head coach Ray Woodward Sunday afternoon. A product of Houston's Westfield High School, Ford was a preseason second-team All-Southland Conference selection entering the season but was not listed on the team's depth chart heading into Saturday's season opener against Oklahoma Panhandle State.

He finished the season ranked 10th in the conference averaging 4.1 catches per game. Ford had 73 career receptions for 695 yards and two touchdowns in his three seasons.
