An 18-year-old Port Arthur man has lost his probation privileges after being accused of an aggravated robbery, kidnapping and sexual assault last month.
Judge John Stevens Friday sentenced Dominique Wendall Adams to two years in prison for violating his probation for a November 2012 burglary conviction. As for the new charges, Judge Stevens set a September trial date.
Police say Adams, along with Bronson Oneal Williams, robbed a woman and her boyfriend at gunpoint at their home in the 1500 block of Saint Augustine Avenue. While the boyfriend was being held outside, authorities say the suspects assaulted the female inside the house.
She managed to escape after the attackers took her to a gas station to withdraw money from an ATM.
