Beaumont police Thursday night made two arrests after a surveillance system indicated intruders at a business on College Street.

Officials said a video monitoring system showed two men inside the gate at Beaumont Tractor in the 4400 block of College Street.

When officers arrived they arrested two people.  Police searched the area with a K-9 and did not find anymore suspects.

The men arrested are identified as Jeffrey Daily, 46, of Beaumont, and Harry Songe Jr, 28, of Crosby.

A Beaumont Police Department spokesperson said while in custody the two men admitted to stealing two ATV's from the same store just the day before the burglary.  Police recovered the stolen ATV's from a wooded area behind Dell Pappa Distributing off I10.

The Beaumont Police spokesperson said both men were taken to the Jefferson County Jail and the men will face charges of felony theft and attempted theft as well. Each felony count comes with a $25,000 bond.
